How to use the side release webbing buckle:
Install Slide Adjuster: Install the Slide Adjuster on the longer end of the webbing.
Install the male end of the side release buckle: Pass the webbing up through the center bar of the buckle and wrap it around the center bar.
Passing the slider adjuster again: Pass the webbing through the slider adjuster again, in the same direction as the first time, under the existing webbing.
Wrap around the center bar of the slider adjuster: fold the end of the webbing over 1/2 inch (or 1.3 cm) and sew the webbing to itself, using two rows of stitching.
Insert the short end of the webbing into the female end of the side release buckle (FEMALE END): Fold the end of the webbing over 1/2 inch (or 1.3 cm) and sew the webbing to itself, using two rows of stitching.
Adjusting and securing: Adjust the length of the webbing as needed, then quickly release or secure the buckle by pressing the side of the side release buckle.
Attachment to bags or other items: Attach the female end of the buckle to one side of the bag or other item, and attach the male end of the webbing to the other side through the rectangular loop on the bag.
SEWING TO SECURE: Pass the end of the webbing through the rectangular loop and pull from the front of the bag toward the back, pulling out about 2 inches (5 cm) of webbing. Fold the end of the webbing down 1 inch (2.5 cm) and sew a rectangle in the securing position to ensure the webbing stays in place.
